What does Yeshua as the Light of the World mean? Why does it matter?
Timeless Truth
We must allow Yeshua to shine out our darkness.
Call to Action
What is something that is holding you back in life? Is there a secret sin that you need to make teshuvah (repentance) from? This darkness that is consuming can only be overcome by the Light of the World. Yeshua is the Light of the World who shines out the darkness. When we allow Yeshua to shine out our darkness, we must not stop there. We must respond to Yeshua’s call to action to be children of Abraham by our actions and behaviors. We must choose to make teshuvah (repentance) from our sin and allow God to shine out the darkness in our lives by His truth. And when the darkness is gone because of the Light of Yeshua, we must choose to not go back to sin but to respond to Yeshua’s words that He told to the woman caught in adultery, “Neither do I condemn you. Now go, and don’t sin anymore (John 8:11b).” We must allow Yeshua to shine out our darkness.
